Let’s Celebrate Mother's Day at our new place of worship! Our two Boards of Trustees have had several meetings and Unity of San Leandro has presented a Letter of Intent to begin the merging process. Although we are at the beginning of this process, on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2024, our churches will begin gathering and worshipping together at 11:11am at Unity of Castro Valley, 20121 Santa Maria Ave., Castro Valley. We don’t know how long the merger process will take to complete but we are moving forward in faith.

SAD NEWS! At least it’s sad to me. I learned earlier today that 0ur church group will not be gathering in person this Easter Sunday. The SL Senior Community Center doesn’t have staff to support opening due to their either having Covid or having been exposed to it. So all bookings at the Senior Center scheduled for Sunday have been cancelled and the Center is closed. Therefore our congregation cannot meet there this Sunday.

Happy Holidays! Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Year’s will be different this year for all of us and will be extremely sad for many.  This holiday season is a time for heart connections, family visits, love exchanges, and for smiling a little more than usual whether there are physical gifts exchanged or not. The best gift we can give is to express the love that we are, by loving others and by allowing ourselves to be loved.
